Dr. Keith Bennett has joined Multiwave´s Business Advisory Board, bringing a substantive business acumen and experience to Multiwave.

Dr. Bennett has a strong technical and business background in photonics, optical systems and instruments, and networked-device software along with over twenty-year’s experience in international, high technology businesses. His technical understanding and marketing capabilities enables him to effectively build trusting and effective relationships between US technology providers and their international partners. He established Newport Corporation’s Japanese subsidiary, growing sales fifteen-fold to 9% of the company’s worldwide revenue, building the organization and serving as its first president. Previous positions include product management at Newport Corporation and Veeco Instruments.

Dr. Bennett has worked extensively as a consultant to both multinational and entrepreneurial firms. He holds a bachelor's degree in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a master's and doctorate in applied physics, with a specialization in photonics / laser technology from Stanford University, has been granted two patents with additional patents pending and is proficient in Japanese. He has co-authored five technical publications and one book in Japanese.
