We are pleased to announce that Dr. Sami Hendow has joined Multiwave as Director of Engineering.
 
Sami comes to Multiwave with over 20 years of experience in the development of advanced EO and photonic products and lasers for scientific and industrial applications.

Prior to joining Multiwave, Sami was Engineering Program Manager with Spectra-Physics, developing high power, solid state and fiber amplified UV lasers. Before that, he was Senior Scientist with Northrop Grumman working on the qualification and power scaling of fiber lasers by coherent beam combining of fiber laser arrays.
 
Prior to that, and as Engineering Director, Sami worked with Southampton Photonics as the technical interface with OEM customers, and with Ditech Communications as engineering manager developing network performance monitors and fiber amplifiers for fiber optic telecom networks.
 
Sami has a PhD in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona. He has published many articles and received several patents related to lasers and photonic products.
