  2009-Dec-04: Dr. José R. Salcedo, Multiwave´s CEO, served as opponent in Ph.D. dissertation exam at Helsinki University of Technology, Finland
 
 

Dr. José R. Salcedo, Multiwave´s CEO, served as opponent at the public examination of the doctoral dissertation of Mr. Mikko Soderlund "Characterization and Analysis of Photodarkening in Double Cladding Ytterbium-Doped Silica Fibers". The public examination took place at the Helsinki University of Technology, Helsinki, Finland, and Prof. Seppo Honkanen served as the Cuscus of the dissertation. Prof. Honkanen also served as the candidate´s advisor.

As result of the examination, Mikko Soderlund was awarded the Ph.D. degree, with distinction.
